In our practice lab, we make crowns, partial crowns, implant crowns, bridges, or inlays ourselves. Our state-of-the-art technology saves you time: where previously three appointments were necessary for dental prosthetics - one for tooth preparation, impression, and temporary fitting, one for the trial fitting, one for insertion - now only one or two appointments are needed with us. First, we measure your tooth with a digital 3D scanner - much more precise than analog methods. The crown or inlay is then made to fit precisely and inserted immediately afterward. No impression is needed with this technique. This means no more gag reflex for you.

Your own tooth is better than any replacement. Therefore, we always try to save the diseased tooth if possible. A typical example is the root canal treatment: Inflammatory tissue (including the nerve) is mechanically removed from the tooth. To stop the inflammation, we proceed with great care: We use new instruments and files and employ a special device for irrigation that thoroughly disinfects the entire root canal up to the root tip with a spray mist. Afterwards, the tooth receives a root filling with a bacteria-tight seal. Thus, we have been able to save many teeth - even in cases that initially seemed hopeless.

For many patients, regular brushing is not enough - for example, because tight interdental spaces or a weakened immune system promote bacterial plaque formation. This increases the risk of caries or periodontitis. In our prophylaxis sessions, your teeth are thoroughly cleaned and made more resistant. A session lasts about an hour: We remove plaque, including in the interdental spaces, then stubborn discolorations (using gentle airflow), and polish in multiple stages. Finally, your teeth are fluoridated - making them resistant to acid attacks and thus to caries. The result: clean, whiter, and noticeably smoother teeth. We recommend treatment once or twice a year, and every three to four months for periodontitis patients.

Periodontitis, like caries, is caused by bacteria and is one of the most common dental diseases. It starts with inflammation of the gums and can lead to the breakdown of the jawbone - and thus to tooth loss. Some patients are more susceptible than others, for example, when the immune system is weakened by diseases (such as diabetes mellitus). We provide empathetic and pain-free treatment for periodontitis patients. We carefully remove the biofilm from teeth and gums using ultrasound and an antibacterial fluid. If done regularly, this can stimulate bone growth again.

Our practice offers a special feature: After careful removal of caries and old fillings, we use not only the usual metal drill but also a polymer drill. This achieves equally good results, but is less painful - therefore, particularly interesting for patients with dental anxiety. Especially for procedures close to the nerve, the use of a steel drill could easily open the nerve cover. A time- and cost-intensive root canal treatment becomes necessary. The use of the polymer drill spares the nerve and thus can prevent the need for a root canal treatment. For subsequent fillings, we exclusively use high-quality ceramic materials. The shrinkage factor is very low - making the fillings especially long-lasting.

If a tooth can no longer be saved, an implant is placed in the gap: an artificial root anchored directly in the jawbone. To avoid irritations or immune reactions, we only use top-quality implants with a lifetime guarantee. From teeth cleaning to caries removal. All treatments in our practice are designed to be tooth-conserving and tooth-preserving. For micro-invasive treatment, caries in the tooth enamel can be sealed with a thin-flowing plastic WITHOUT drilling. We will automatically advise you on this method if superficial defects are found on your teeth.

Many patients frequently ask me whether it's possible to correct dental misalignments in adulthood. For a few years now, we have been offering transparent aligners from our partner Clear Correct to correct dental misalignments. The thickness of an aligner is about 0.5 mm. They are barely noticeable and do not hinder speaking. The aligner is worn 22 hours a day (22/7) and is removed during meals. With this aligner therapy, the teeth are moved back to their original position. You receive a new aligner every 2 to 3 weeks until the treatment is complete. Typically, between 6 to 32 aligners are needed, depending on how much your teeth need to be moved. Speak to me and my team, and we will be happy to explain more about this treatment!

We offer a gentle yet effective tooth whitening/bleaching service in our practice. During bleaching, the teeth are remineralized and thus cared for during the treatment, so there are no sensitivities during or after bleaching. Ideally, the teeth should be cleaned beforehand with a professional dental cleaning. Plan for about 45 minutes per bleaching session. Most patients are satisfied with the color result after 2 to 4 sessions. The costs are calculated per session. We offer PAIN-FREE digital computer-assisted local anesthesia in our practice. This is especially useful for patients with dental anxiety and children. Furthermore, I like to use this method when only one tooth needs to be numbed. You are fit for your daily routine just 30 minutes after the treatment and there are no downtime.

We regularly check your chewing muscles and jaw joint. In case of complaints, physiotherapy can help. Furthermore, we can fabricate a splint to relieve and improve your symptoms.

If your teeth are severely worn or destroyed, a so-called 'bite elevation' can be performed. Your teeth are reconstructed to their original height with ceramic restorations. This returns the jaw joint to its original position. This treatment achieves a functional, aesthetic result. Many patients have compared it to their teeth from 'younger' years. This treatment is very complex and requires a lot of experience.

The front teeth wear down over the course of a person's life. To ensure you can still display an unblemished smile, we make ultra-thin veneers (ceramic shells) for your teeth. This can change both the shape and color of the teeth. Photos from younger years can be helpful to reconstruct the shape. Another approach is to give damaged teeth or teeth with misalignments a new silhouette. We would be happy to advise you on how we can create a beautiful, harmonious smile for you. It's important to know that your own teeth do NOT necessarily need to be drilled.
